Watchflag
Please note - this help area is limited and we're working to bring it up to date with screen shots and examples. In the meantime, send us a message if you have questions that aren't answered here.

Watchflag is software developed for mobile devices to provide you with custom alerts when new messages arrive. It will screen each email or text message and compare it with a set of rules you define. You can make rules based on the sender, subject, body and importance level of the message. When a message is received that matches a rule, your phone will light up, play a sound, vibrate, flash the camera's LED, display an "acknowledge screen"... or do all of the above!
* Use the Watchflag Acknowledgement screen to see an up-to-the-minute, combined list of new email and sms text messages in all accounts and subfolders as they arrive; once acknowledged or read on your PC (thru activesync or imap), they'll drop off the list automatically.
* Light up the display for every email or text message you receive.
* Play one sound when you get email thru your Gmail&trade account and another for Yahoo™.
* Make a loud noise and vibrate when your boss sends email with the subject "urgent".
* Play that fight song when you receive a score update for your favorite team.
* Hear a siren when you receive an automated message about your server going down.
* Blink the camera's flash LED when an audio or vibration alert isn't enough.
Our goal is to support all Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices (wm5 smartphone, wm6 standard, classic, pro). We encourage you to try Watchflag, and share your results with us. Watchflag has built-in diagnostic features and we'll work with you to address any issues!
Watchflag is provided as a single .cab installation file.

To download and install directly from your phone, visit -> m.watchflag.com.

Or you may download the cab file to your PC and use ActiveSync to transfer it to your device. Using File Manager, locate and select the cab file to start the installation.

Once installed, click the Windows Mobile Start menu and find the Watchflag icon.

* Turn off standard sound made by your phone when messages arrive - use Watchflag instead.
* Be aware, rules are processed in the order listed; Watchflag acts on the first rule that matches.
* Audio files (mp3, wma, wav, mid) are pulled from \Windows, \My Music and \My Ringtones.
* Rules can be quickly enabled and disabled with the on/off menu option.
* You may need to reboot your phone after installing Watchflag for fonts to take effect.
* Leaving "from", "subject" or "body" criteria blank means a rule will match no matter the sender, subject or body.
* From, subject and body criteria are ANDed together when matching.
* A subject value of "update" will match messages with the subject "watchflag updates".
* A subject value of "urgent#help#order" will match subjects of "urgent", "help" or "order".
* A from value of "smith" matches "jsmithz@yahoo.com" and "john smith <js@yahoo.com>".
* A from value of "smith#jones" matches addresses containing either "smith" or "jones".
* A from value of "yahoo" matches "yahoo@somesite.com" and also "someone@yahoo.com".
The trial version of Watchflag is designed to function for a limited number of days. If you wish to purchase a license, use the 'registration' menu of the Watchflag mobile application to access your Registration Code. This code is used to purchase a License Key that will enable you to use Watchflag beyond the trial period. The license you receive is tied to the phone that generated the Registration Code. It cannot be transferred to any other phone. Please contact us for volume purchases.
We're currently providing all upgrades for free to licensed users. This will change once development slows down. The plan is to provide free minor (point) releases anytime, major upgrades free for 90 days and discounted thereafter.
We'll soon be releasing updates to support monitoring of missed calls and voice mail, time-based rules and many other exciting features.

We implement most of the suggestions submitted to us, including volume control, subfolder monitoring and repeat alerts. So please send your ideas and we might implement them as well!
